The Lumbermen's Club of
Memphis, the oldest lumber organization of its
type in the world, has since 1967 annually awarded the J.S.P. Wilson
Lumberman of the Year Award to one of its
members. Wilson Lumber Company,
Inc. is proud that all three of
its officers have won this
distinguished award. Terry Wilson -
2005, Revis Gobbell - 2002, Charles Wilson
-1983. These three have a
combined lumber experience of over 140 years.
Mr. J.S.P. Wilson, for whom the award honors, had 61
years in the hardwood lumber industry before
retiring in 1964.
